Privacy

Stay254 collects the name, phone, email, county and town a host types when creating an account, plus a password stored only as a hash.

A viewing request stores the customer name, phone, property, date and time. A report stores the reason and the description.

Stay254 counts property views, calls, WhatsApp clicks and viewing requests so the launch can be measured. These counts are for the operator, not for public display of personal data.

Stay254 does not ask for an M-Pesa PIN, a card number, or a card PIN. Online payments are not collected in this launch.

This page is a working notice for the launch. It should be reviewed by a Kenyan privacy professional before a wide public launch.
